DESCRIPTION:Help Design Hikurangi’s New Skate & Play Space\nPlans are underway for a new skatepark and playground in Hikurangi\, and the community is invited to help shape what it will look like. \nWhangārei District Council will be gathering ideas from local families\, tamariki and rangatahi to help design the space\, which is proposed for Park Street beside the Hikurangi Rugby Clubrooms. \nBring the kids along for a relaxed afternoon where they can share their ideas\, take part in design activities\, and enjoy a sausage sizzle\, with the Road Safety team also on hand. \n📅 Thursday 19 March⏰ 3 – 5.30pm📍 Park Street – between the bowling club and rugby club \nThis is a great opportunity for the community to help create a fun\, safe space for young people to play\, skate and connect. All are welcome to come along and contribute their ideas.
