Seed Saving Workshop

As the world becomes more unpredictable, there’s never been a better time to reconnect with simple, practical skills that support local resilience.
Join Wholey Health for a Seed-Saving Workshop with Soozee ~ a hands-on session for home gardeners and permaculture growers alike. Whether you’re just getting started or already growing your own food, this is a chance to learn, share knowledge, and be part of a more sustainable future.
Seed-saving is a practical and empowering way to support local food and seed supply, while preserving valuable heritage varieties.
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
• Why saving your own seeds matters
• What seeds you can save ~ including heritage, open-pollinated and hybrid varieties
• Key techniques like managing cross-pollination, separation distances, netting and hand-pollination
• How to recognise when seeds are ready to harvest
• Harvesting, processing, storing and sharing seeds
