Matapouri Community Library

Located beside Matapōuri Hall, the Matapōuri Community Library is a welcoming, volunteer-run space providing local residents and visitors with access to a diverse collection of books for all ages and interests.

The library features a recently refurbished interior, including a dedicated children’s area, and offers a wide selection of fiction, non-fiction, and young adult titles. The collection is regularly refreshed, helping ensure there is always something new to discover.

Open every Saturday from 10:00am to 12:00 noon, the library provides an affordable way for families to enjoy reading, learning, and lifelong discovery within the community.

Membership: $20 per family
Book borrowing: Free for members
