Hikurangi Memorial Hall ~ Located in the heart of Hikurangi, Hikurangi Memorial Hall is a versatile community venue available for private and group bookings. The hall is owned by the Whangarei District Council and managed by the Hikurangi Friendship House Charitable Trust, whose office is located inside the hall entrance.
The hall features two main spaces: the Big Hall and the Back Hall, suitable for meetings, classes, community gatherings, celebrations, and private events. Facilities include a kitchen, heat pumps in the Big Hall, and flexible spaces for both regular and one-off users.
Hire Information
Back Hall:

Regular users: $20 for up to 3 hours, $10 per additional hour

One-off users (less than 3 times/year): $25 for up to 3 hours, $10 per additional hour

Big Hall:

Bonds: $200 alcohol-free, $300 BYO alcohol, $500 for sale of liquor (with licence)
