Educare Hikurangi

Educare Hikurangi is a welcoming early childhood education centre nestled under Hikurangi maunga in the heart of the rural Northland community. The centre supports tamariki from 0 – 5 years with high-quality, play-based learning that reflects the unique culture and environment of the area. Situated next to the local tennis courts and across from the Hikurangi Rugby Club, Educare Hikurangi makes the most of its location with plenty of opportunities for outdoor exploration and physical activity.

At Educare Hikurangi, spacious outdoor spaces centred on nature encourage children to freely explore their interests, while programme planning is tailored around the needs and aspirations of each child in partnership with their whānau. The centre also works closely with local schools to support smooth transitions when tamariki are ready for their next learning step.
