According to The Northland Age, three local Department of Conservation campgrounds ranked in the top 10 most popular in Aotearoa last summer.

• Uretiti Beach took out 2nd place with an impressive 32,000 bed nights

• Otamure Bay, Whananaki followed close behind in 4th with 20,000 bed nights

• Puriri Campsite, Whangaruru rounded out the top 10 with 10,000 bed nights

The number one spot went to Tōtaranui in Abel Tasman, clocking 57,000 bed nights — but Northland’s showing proves our coast, camps, and summer vibes are hard to beat 🌊🏕️
