Whangarei Deep Sea Anglers Club ~ Tutukaka’s legendary home of big-game fishing
Perched right on the Tutukaka Marina, the Whangarei Deep Sea Anglers Club is one of New Zealand’s oldest and most iconic game-fishing clubs. Its clubhouse ~ known locally as the Tutukaka Club – is packed with history: vintage fishing gear, classic photos, trophies, and impressive fish mounts ranging from marlin to snapper and gurnard.
The club welcomes everyone, from holiday-makers and school groups to travellers, touring crews and visiting overseas boats. Knowledgeable members and long-time anglers are always happy to share stories and local insight.
With more than 1,200 members from all walks of life ~ fishers, divers, boaties, locals and loyal visitors ~ the club is a lively hub just minutes from some of the best blue-water fishing on the planet.
Facilities include the Anglers Bistro, well-stocked bars, a relaxed lounge area and a sun-soaked deck overlooking the marina. Visitors are welcome, and new members can enjoy full access to all a
menities plus reciprocal rights with many fishing clubs worldwide.
